Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the makara kikiri mobile app (the “App”) and the services on makarakikiri.com process personal data. It is written with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in mind.

Data we collect
- Profile: the username and avatar you choose. We do not ask for your real name, email address or phone number.
- Technical identifiers: a randomly generated player ID, a session token and your friend code.
- Friends and invites: the friends you add and the room invites you send.
- Notifications: if you allow notifications, your device's push token and app language.
- Game results: for finished games, the room code, game type, player IDs, rankings and scores.
- Connection data: our servers process your IP address to connect you; it may appear in short-lived technical logs.
In-game content, voice notes and voice chat
- Answers, questions and bids you enter during a game are sent only to the players in that room while the game runs; they are not stored on the server afterwards.
- Voice notes (e.g. in Share or Steal?) are delivered only to the intended player and are not stored.
- Voice chat is relayed live through a voice server we operate and is not recorded. The microphone is used only when you turn it on (open mic) or hold the button (push to talk). The App does not use the camera.
Stored on your device
Your profile and game history are also kept on your device. “Reset profile” in the App deletes them from the device.
What we don't collect
We do not collect location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers or health data. The App contains no ads, analytics or tracking tools. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the games and friend features (performance of a contract).
- Sending notifications (your consent, which you can withdraw in iOS Settings at any time).
- Keeping the service secure and preventing abuse (legitimate interests).
Service providers and international transfers
We use these infrastructure providers: Railway (app server and database), Vultr (voice chat server, Frankfurt, Germany), Cloudflare (domain/DNS) and Apple (notifications, App Store and TestFlight). Their servers may be located outside your country; data is transferred only to provide the service and with appropriate safeguards.
Retention
Profile and friend data are kept while you use the App. When you ask us to delete it, we do so within a reasonable time (at most 30 days). Technical logs are deleted automatically after a short period.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing and request a copy of your data. Email rmznkapar@gmail.com with your username and friend code from the App. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. 18+ topics are off by default and can only be turned on after an age confirmation.
Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page with the date above.
